Little Piggies Went to Camarian Farms

What a busy last few weeks it has been. As you all know the Winot Family went on a family vacation and saw the Grand Canyon. We highly recommend it. What an amazing adventure and journey it was. Although it was nice to get away, nothing beats coming home to our precious Farmstead! We missed our animals and boy did they miss us too! We have also added a few new additions to the farm! Yep! You guessed it! Piggies! Oink oink! We have purchased some Tamsworth pigs and we also got a couple guinea hogs too. The tamsworth Piggies have big plans, and the hogs do too. Just in a different way. We will actually be selling the guinea hogs pretty soon after we care for them for a little bit. Soon you’ll be able to buy a live pig, or piglet, or meats from Camarian Farms which is so exciting. Our little farm grows bigger each day, as does the work load. We work together and do it as a family though and that makes it all worth while. Our daughter is over the moon with the new additions. The birds are all big enough for free range now too so she has been very excited to come home from school to see them out and about. She's always running right over to the pasture to say hello to all the animals as soon as she gets home. We are currently looking into another ram lamb as well. If all pans out we will have another, but all in God’s timing. He has blessed us abundantly and continues to work his masterful plan in our lives daily, and we are always grateful and proudly praising him for everything he has done and continues to do. My daughter and I have been working hard on some new holiday candles. We are pretty excited about them too. We have some neat ideas and scents in mind and we are so excited to unveil them just in time for Thanksgiving and black Friday shopping! Matt has been working his fingers to the bone getting our farm ready for winter. We have prepared a lot but there is always more work to do! There are some exciting developments coming our way over the course of the rest of the year and we are excited for them. As always we will post here on our blog and keep you updated, and feel free to follow our social media platforms for news and updates. We are talking about building a mobile farmstand, but possibly not until the spring. Winter is coming so much faster than we anticipated, but we take it each day at a time and just enjoy life as it comes! Until next time, remember you can do anything and be anything, anytime you want! God bless and have a very happy Thanksgiving from our farm to yours!
